hello: new player trying to get a grip on how to play this. When I open the “OmnipediaApp.exe” file in the neurocracy zip found on itch, it takes me instead to the Pipeline app, and the Pipeline app has a bunch of stuff on it. is that stuff supposed to be there already? I read the “Welcome to Neurocracy” thread so I can see it’s relevant to the game’s core mystery, but I didn’t put it there and there’s no explanation so I’m not sure if I got to a weird state the way I loaded the game.
thanks for any help folks can offer - having a hard time figuring out if I’m getting started correctly.

The Pipeline app does indeed open with a starting section of your conspiracy board already in place. It’s there to suggest a communal inquiry regarding the main murder mystery, but you’re of course free to ignore it if your dive into Omnipedia pulls you in a different direction!
The upper taskbar of the Pipeline app should show you a tab that goes to Omnipedia, from where you can browse the site and import information directly to your board. While it’s a handy tool for organising information, Pipeline is not strictly required to tackle Neurocracy’s murder mystery, since you can also visit omnipedia.app in your regular browser.
