Someone else is posting as me

I’ve been thinking about this development and, as far as I can tell with the available information, I believe one of three things could be happening:

  1. The official word from @TonyHsiung seems to be that the unaccounted posts are indeed coming from us, except we don’t remember writing them because we’re showing symptoms of CMD, which includes memory loss.

I’m inclined to dismiss this possibility, considering the extent to which CMD has become a tool to enable mass surveillance and oppression, used to discredit or otherwise remove undesirable voices. This section from the Adira article (redacted as of 10/03) confirms that for me:

I want to add something that @ThePaperGirl pointed out earlier: CMD shares many of its memory-affecting symptoms with CSVD, which is caused by colloids lacking Sanial’s licensed nanomaterials that specifically prevent it. In the event that CSVD is to blame for what’s happening, that could mean official colloids are as much at risk of causing it as third-party ones!

  2. Someone else is taking over our accounts to post under our names. The only wrinkle I can see there is that, because the unaccounted posts all read like they could have come from us, it remains unsure where they got the required examples of @ayyvanovich’s voice, who hadn’t posted yet.

That being said, this possibility strikes me as the most likely one, considering how it’s not dependent on whether or not we have a colloid implant. That brings me, for the sake of argument, to the third possibility:

  3. We could be experiencing blankouts, either on their own or tied to cases of malicious brainjacking. This possibility came into sharp focus when I caught this (conveniently timed) update to the Blankout article:

Besides anxiety also being a common symptom of CMD, I imagine this experience is leaving all of us at least a little uneasy! It has led me to sincerely question whether I may actually have a colloid while being made to think I don’t.

In summary, either we’re posting without remembering it, our accounts are being hijacked, or we’re being made to post through mind control. Whatever the case, my gut feeling tells me that what we’re witnessing (or more accurately, what we’re now a part of) is an experiment of some kind. I think they’re testing the waters, waiting to see how we respond to this manipulation before escalating it.
